Editing Bundle URLs

Bundle URLs are generated by the app and follow a specific format:

https://your-store.myshopify.com/tools/bundle-builder/[hash-id]/new

Can I Change the URL?

The hash ID portion of the URL is auto-generated and cannot be changed. However, you can set a custom slug for your bundle in the bundle settings, which gives you a more readable URL.

URL Redirects

Shopify URL redirects only apply to store paths that would otherwise show a “page not found” error. Because bundle builder pages are served through Shopify’s app proxy, their URLs never reach the redirect system — so you cannot redirect an existing bundle URL (for example, an old /tools/bundle-builder/... link) to a new one. Shopify also doesn’t allow redirects to be created from paths starting with these reserved prefixes:

• /apps
• /application
• /cart
• /carts
• /orders
• /shop
• /services

If you need a more user-friendly URL, you can add the bundle to your store’s navigation menu with a custom label, or use the Bundle Widget theme block to place it on any page.
