Getting Started

Bundable allows you to create pages on your Shopify store where customers can add products to a bundle based on the rules you define within the application. These rules determine what products the customer is allowed to add and what discounts are applied.

How Bundles Work Behind the Scenes

When you create a bundle in the Bundable app, here's what happens:

1. A bundle product is created in your Shopify dashboard with the name you give the bundle
2. When a customer builds their bundle on the storefront page, the app generates a new variant on that product with custom pricing and information about the products selected
3. If the bundle is ordered, inventory is automatically adjusted for each product in the bundle

Bundable supports two bundle modes:

• Single-SKU: All selected products are combined into one line item in the cart. Individual products appear as line item properties. Great for simple bundles.
• Multi-SKU: Each selected product appears as its own line item in the cart, grouped under the bundle. Ideal when you need individual SKU tracking for fulfillment.

Getting Started

Step 1: Create Your First Bundle

1. Open the Bundable app from your Shopify admin
2. Click Create Bundle
3. Fill out the bundle settings:
   • Bundle Title: the name your customers will see
   • Products: choose a Collection or hand-pick individual products
   • Min/Max: set the minimum and maximum number of products customers can add
   • Discounts: optionally set a percentage or fixed discount, or a fixed/base bundle price
   • Bundle Mode: choose Single-SKU or Multi-SKU
4. Click Save

Step 2: Build-a-Box (Optional)

For more complex bundles, you can enable Multi-Step Mode in the Products section. This guides customers through a step-by-step selection process, where each step has its own product source and limits. For example:

• Step 1: Choose a size
• Step 2: Choose a flavor
• Step 3: Pick an accessory

Step 3: Share Your Bundle

Once your bundle is saved, you can share it with customers in several ways:

Option A: Navigation Menu

1. Go to your Shopify admin → Online Store → Navigation
2. Add or edit a menu item
3. Paste your bundle's URL (found on the Bundable dashboard)

Option B: Add to a Collection

1. Go to Products → Collections in your Shopify admin
2. Select or create a collection
3. Add the bundle product that Bundable created

Option C: Embed in Your Theme

Bundable provides a theme block you can add to any page in your Shopify theme editor. Go to Online Store → Customize, add the Bundable embed block, and enter your bundle's hash ID.

Step 4: Customize the Look

You can customize each bundle's appearance:

• Display: layout columns, items per page, product sort order, sticky summary, show unpublished products
• Template Editor: customize the HTML, CSS, and JavaScript of the bundle page (click the Template button at the top of the bundle edit page)
• Translations: customize button text and labels for your brand or language
